Colorado Sikhs Response to Pittsburg Synagogue Attack

Colorado Sikhs stand in sadness, in solidarity and in resolve with the entire Jewish Community, during this time of tragedy, at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue.

Yesterday, October 27, 2018, a shooter walked into the Tree of Life and killed 11 people.  As we wait to understand the facts, the truth remains that it takes a great deal of hate to commit such a heinous crime.

“No American wakes up and expects, nor deserves, to be shot or killed at our home of worship.  Our house of worship is a place we go to commune with the Divine, to pray with our community, to serve those in need and to find our spiritual path forward.  It is a place of safety.” – Dilpreet Jammu - Colorado Sikhs.

As members of the Sikh community, may we always remember that we are one human race that shares in the joys and sorrows of all beings on this world.
