20 Denver Faith Leaders head off to Toronto for the Parliament of World Religions

Over 20 leaders from multiple faith traditions in the Denver area are traveling together to join the more than 10,000 people from 220 religions around the world in Toronto at the Parliament of World Religions. In a time when divisions are heightened, many Colorado faith leaders are unified in calls for inclusion and compassion.


Amanda Henderson, Executive Director of The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado says, "Through traveling together to the Parliament to join others from around the world, we build deep relationships with one another and plant seeds for long term community transformation."


This years Parliament theme is The Promise of Inclusion, the Power of Love. Faith leaders from across the world will discuss topics like climate change, women's dignity, and countering war, hate and violence.

Joining the Parliament this year from Denver, Amanda Henderson- Executive Director of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, Iman Jodeh- Executive Director at Meet the Middle East, and Dilpreet Jammu, Head of the Colorado Sikhs.
