What Faith Communities Need to Know
In light of some of the decisions made by the new administration, we are aware that things are shifting quickly for many faith communities. Given the recent increase in immigration activity, we think it’s important to provide some resources for faith families in Colorado. It is important to know your rights, and the rights of your neighbors, in order to safeguard each other’s dignity.
We’ve detailed some Know Your Rights information below from various legal partners like the ACLU, among others. This information addresses Frequently Asked Questions for faith leaders regarding immigration activity at faith community buildings around our state, details about what to do if confronted by ICE officials, and other resources for guidance during this difficult time.
Regardless of immigration status, everyone in the United States has rights guaranteed by the U. S. Constitution. As people of faith and conscience, we uphold these rights and call for preservation of human dignity through compassion.

Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you for this information. I will pass it on to my housekeeper and others who may be confronted. Blessings
