Among the common values that unite the more than two dozen faith traditions in our network are the belief in multifaith democracy and that the people choose who represents them. Today, we’re experiencing efforts to keep eligible people from voting by those who want to hold onto and expand their own power. Yet, despite those challenges, we are also witnessing something profoundly inspiring: people of faith and conscience across Colorado preparing to meet this moment. They are preparing to exercise their rights, dedicating time to educating themselves and their neighbors, and boldly proclaiming that The Vote Is Sacred.
At the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, we always seek to root our advocacy in courage and transparency – we cannot shrink from naming the threats to our values and the challenging realities before us. But we also seek to put the hope, tenacity, and solidarity that your support and collaboration inspires in us up front. It’s no different for this campaign.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be communicating weekly to give our network tools and knowledge to navigate the upcoming election. Those tools include our annual Vote Your Values Guide, including information on voting, election protection, statewide ballot questions, etc., as well as “What Faith Communities Need to Know” briefings to prepare voters for election day.
We’ll also be asking you to share why you believe The Vote is Sacred. By highlighting the voices of our network, partners, and staff team, we hope to build a powerful testament to our shared resolve and commitment.
And, after election day, join us on November 5th for our 2026 Force for Good Reception and wrap-up event for the Interfaith Alliance’s The Vote Is Sacred National Bus Tour. The FFG Reception & Awards will feature a keynote address from Interfaith Alliance CEO, Rev. Paul Raushenbush! Mark your calendars and join us in celebrating the work we do together to advocate for a multi-faith democracy.
